Saturday 9th April 2022 - Pylos, Greece

I was going to say that we had a quiet day today but it would be more accurate to say that we didn't go anywhere. There was a lot of head scratching as we tried to plan a rough itinerary for the rest of our time in Greece. There were more sights in the Peloponnese that we wanted to see as well as some in Northern Greece but we also needed to be somewhere sensible for Greek Easter. We were struggling to resolve it in the morning so we went for lunch at one of the many restaurants just down the beach from the campsite. That worked as we came up with a new plan and checked it out when we got back to the van. After a few more days in the Peloponnese, we will head to the north and then come back to the Peloponnese for the Easter celebrations and more sightseeing. This means that we will have to change or ferry booking so that we leave from Patras rather than Igoumenitsa as we originally planned. This shouldn't be a problem as it is the same ferry and cost exactly the same. Jane fired off an email to our travel agent and we should hear back on Monday.
