The campsite had a leaflet with an interesting walk and we
decided to follow it. Walking from the campsite, we walked over fields and down
the valley of a small stream until it reached the sea at a pebbly beach. It
then took us up and along a cliff walk with lovely sea views until we descended
to Carolles Plage. Here we had a light lunch and watched lots of families
enjoying the warm weather and the beach before we headed slightly inland. The
path took us steeply up before we joined the cutting of a former railway line
and this took us back into Carolles village and the campsite.
