Thursday 20th September 2018 – Plouezec , Brittany, France

We were buffeted by the wind overnight and decided that we would have a ‘down day’ i.e. a day when we caught up with chores and otherwise took it easy. Jane did the washing whilst I tried to fashion a new wooden handle for the teapot lid at home by whittling a piece of wood that I had brought with me. We decided to have dinner in the campsite restaurant but, given that the site was closing in a few days’ time, the menu was virtually non-existent. They had fish & chips on special offer and we chose that.
