We were going to travel to Greece in the Autumn of 2023 until we realised that Greek Orthodox Easter in 2024 is very late – Easter Sunday is May 5th. Easter is a really interesting time to be in Greece and the late date meant that we should, hopefully, be able to enjoy some good weather. I have also wanted to investigate Albania for many years but Covid disrupted my plans. So this Spring we decided to wend our way to Greece and Albania in Cara, our Carado T135 motorhome. We will be travelling down to Italy, taking the ferry from Ancona to Igoumenitsa and exploring Northern Greece before slipping over the border into Albania and returning to Igoumenitsa for the ferry back to Italy. The trip is scheduled to take us 60 days.
