The
forecast for the next two days is appalling – lots and lots of heavy rain. We
decided to move on to an ACSI site on the edge of a lake so that we would at
least have a view if we were confined to the van.
The weather when we set off was much better than expected and the journey was
very pleasant, especially the section east from Trento. Steep cliffs lined the
sides of the valley and we passed many vineyards.
We arrived at Largo Arsie Camping at 13:00 and the rain started. Unsurprisingly
given the early season, the weather and the fact that it was not weekend, the
site was very quiet but we had a warm welcome. We hunkered down and it was
still raining when we went to bed.
Photos: We passed many castles on the way down to Trento and this is one of
them.
