After another good breakfast, including bacon, scrambled
eggs and sausage, I took my bag back to the van and collected our laptop
computers. We took advantage of the hotel WiFi – me to post a few blogs (I am
way behind) and Jane to download Yeovil Literary Prize entries for reviewing.
We took our luggage back to the van and then walked back into town to have a
late Menu del Dia. There was a big market just around the corner from the aire,
next to the bullring, but it was just closing up by the time that we got there.
Later at the aire, we heard more drumming and walked out to find it. The group
consisted mainly of children, some very young. They hadn’t quite got the hang
of marching in step, but their drumming was very good. Once again, as we went
to bed, another band was parading somewhere close. We fell asleep to the sound
of Scops Owls and the distant band.
Photos: The main street was lined with Lenten cloths on all of the buildings
and this was probably where the procession was last night – new cloths were
being put up, perhaps ready for the next procession?; One stall at the market;
Another young member of a drumming band, easily distracted but his drumming was
spot on.

Hi M&J,
Just caught up with your recent posts. I love your travel log! The photos really paint a picture of every you articulate on the blog.
You are living it; thank you for taking me on the journey with you!
Jane seems to be making a habit of sitting next to strange men!
Take care, Geoff.
