Took the train to Shiltach – a very attractive, small but perfectly formed old part of the town. We visited a museum housed in an old pharmacy (1835 – 1960) that had a fascinating collection of potions, jars and equipment as well as the original pharmacy in all its glory. The lady in the museum was a great enthusiast and was telling everyone all sorts of stories about the collection – unfortunately we couldn't understand any of it.
The photograph shows a water-powered sawmill in Shiltach - this is specially for my brother who restored a flour watermill in Weymouth, England. Ever since then, I have always taken a great interest in watermills!
